It takes both strong individuals and a strong team to be successful -- you can't have one without the other.
You've probably heard the phrase, 'You're only as strong as your weakest link.' In sports we create winning teams by first teaching the individual the fundamentals he or she needs for success. For example in basketball, we teach them to dribble, pass and shoot - that's individual development.
Then we take those skills and merge them into a strong team offense that works together to carry out the team's vision of championship.
