Coach Marc Q. Jones

Successful
basketball coach, motivational speaker and entrepreneur. Coach Q has spent 18 years coaching successful
teams both on and off the court. He has been a consultant to teams in the National Basketball Association and a motivational
speaker and consultant for Leo Chesney Community
Correctional Facility, universities,
municipal governments and corporations including University of California, City of West Sacramento, and Orlando Magic. In
2001 he anchored televised pre-game analysis for the Sacramento Kings, and from 2002–2004, he produced and appeared
in on air feature segments with NBA players from the Golden State Warriors for Fox Sports Net.
2005 Project Implicit, Harvard University Project Implicit blends basic research and educational outreach in a virtual
laboratory at which visitors can examine their own hidden biases. Project Implicit is the product of research by three scientists
whose work produced a new approach to understanding of attitudes, biases, and stereotypes.
The Project Implicit site (implicit.harvard.edu) has been functioning as a hands-on science museum exhibit, allowing web visitors to experience the manner in which human
minds display the effects of stereotypic and prejudicial associations acquired from their socio-cultural environment.
